Rachel is a behavioral scientist, passionate about designing products and services for social impact. In her role at Indeed, she's started a behavioral science practice focused on helping people find meaningful work and employers find the best, diverse talent to grow their businesses.At ideas42 she led and supported a portfolio of innovative pilots applying behavioral science to reduce poverty and inequality. She also led the data science and machine learning portfolio, advancing the intersection of behavioral and computational social sciences.Rachel’s graduate research examined the impact of job skills training for demobilized combatants in Colombia. Previously, she has worked as a consultant in program monitoring and evaluation at the United Nations Development Programme and as a Research Fellow in partnership with the International Organization for Migration.Rachel holds a B.A. from Stanford University in International Relations & Economics and an M.A. in Development Economics & Conflict Resolution from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. She is fluent in Spanish; and in her free time, she is a vegan cook and sources ingredients from local and organic farms.
